Our professionals have extensive experience working with both typical and children within the Autism Spectrum Disorder, privately and in the government funded agencies. Working alongside clinicians and a Senior Therapist we have greatly contributed to the setting up of an Intensive Behavioural Intervention program for a non-profit agency in the Malton -Mississauga area.
The professionals running and supervising this program are taking graduate studies in Curriculum and Instruction in Autism at University of Massachusetts Lowell, aside our Ontario IBI provincial training and Seneca Graduate Certificate in Autism. Our ongoing scientific-based training allows us to only offer the most up-to-date teaching techniques derived from Applied Behavior Analysis.
What we are offering
We have now partnered with Allegro School of Music and Art to develop this unique 5-day enriching half a day program that incorporates music into its curriculum and that is steered towards the child’s socialization and generalization of skills across all the different domains. Music has been proven to stimulate the development of the child’s brain, and in language, movement, and social communication, music holds many nutrients for the developing mind of children. The Musical March program has been designed specifically for children between 4 to 7 years of age within the spectrum. The children will enjoy and explore music from a different perspective as they will be exposed to an enriched environment that will entice them to discove .
Sessions
Two sessions will be offered at the music school that is conveniently located at 404 and Steeles. AM group will run from 9 am to 12pm; and the PM session will run from 12:30 to 3:30pm.
