What are speech classes?
You can improve articulation problems and voice quality. Elocution sessions are designed to make your voice and articulation clear, expressive, energetic, confident.
Articulation: The manner of producing speech sounds. It's never late to correct an articulation problem.
Diction:
* Verbal style in wording and phrasing
* Breathe support and breathing relaxation exercises
* Pitch and projection exercises for strength and flexibility of the vocal instrument and more.
Accent modification: You will learn how to speak more effectively, receive greater understanding from listeners, and increase your self-confidence and esteem. Speech and voice improvement.
The course will help you improve:
* Voice placement and resonance
* Consonant and vowel precision
* Variety in the melody of speech.
* Non-verbal communication (eye contact, body language, gestures).
12 week program will include :
Drama
Name games, Breathing Exercises, Voice Game, and Face Exercises, Introducing our Friends.
Cool Down, Sound Ball, Introduce coral speaking, Nursery rhymes, Voice warm up
Walk around the room, Kings and Queens, Character bus, Blocking and Staging.
Skits, Pirate ship, Silent House, Trusting your partner, Park bench, Skits, Monologues
Short Play, Story Tag, Party host, Monologue and many- many more!!
Drama &Voice
Students will start with voice warm up, breathing exercises, singing major and minor scales, intervals, play and clap backs, music sigh reading, theory of music, popular Disney songs, duets and more.
The half an hour drama program that follows the voice class will be an extension of the Disney experience,
Including dialogue, voice projection and an enhanced confidence in each performer.
The lessons will consist of; voice warm ups, theatre games, character work and short skits.
This will teach the children how to advance their character in the songs, to create a more dynamic performance.
